Nature takes care of the cleaning for you with rain, frost, dew and condensation, removing most dust, pollen and fingerprints. 

    If your glass railings are outside but protected from the elements, such as in a Muskoka room or a covered or screened-in porch, the occasional light spraying with a garden hose will remove pesky spider webs. 

    Of course, you can also encounter some common family-related messes like peanut butter and jam fingerprints or dog nose prints, which can easily be washed away with a bit of warm water and dish soap. Much easier than sanding and restaining traditional wood!

  • Absolutely. Our system uses half-inch thick (12mm) tempered glass, paired with a solid marine grade stainless steel cast spigot and 6” GRK structural screws to hold everything securely in place. Proper blocking, alongside our carefully engineered system, ensures your new railings meet Canada’s strictest building codes.

  • We stock our glass panels in 2” increments from 10” to 72”, so there is no lead time, even though our systems are customized to suit your specific dimensions.

  • Yes, we offer delivery and installation for glass showers and hardware.

  • You can install Northvue’s frameless glass systems to make the most of your property, including creating an open-concept look for any interior or exterior space.
